As promised: Bird of Paradise

As promised here is my look for the bird of paradise tee from Givenchy.

-Enjoy!

Muse

As I continue this adventure into photography, I normally look to the masters of fashion photography that have in their own way contributed something new and innovative to the industry. My inspirations mostly come from Patrick Demarchelier and Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist. Most recently I have found inspiration in Mary. She has the perfect bone structure and her figure looks sensational from behind the camera. We've been together for almost three years now and even though it took me a while I think I've found my muse.

DIYed Gladiators

I've loved these shoes for some time now, but I was thirsty for a change and I figured why not make these perfectly understaded attention grabbers even better. Not sure if I made them better but I definitely made them kick-ass.

Bird of Paradise

So I went ahead and spent the rediculous amount of money for the Bird of Paradise tee. It was definitely a must have and I have a few more weeks to wear it before the fall. It is just as amazing in person as it was on the runway. I wore it today along with my favorite ZARA zipper harem pants and gladiator sandals. I figured my sandals had their time to shine so I went ahead and DIYed them. I found cheap studs at a punk rock record store called Extreme Noise in Uptown, Minneapolis MN. The end result is definitely bad-ass I love 'em.

I'll post a Lookbook of this soon...probably tomorrow so take a look.
